Pizzo della Pieve - North wall - Fasana route (winter ascent) (TD+)

The "Fasana" wall, so called in honour of its first climber, Eugenio Fasana in 1925, is 800 meters high and 1000 meters wide. It represents a unique playground as far as the winter ascents are concerned. After I climbed Freezer few years ago, on the extreme left part, we are now headed in the heart of the wall, to the Fasana route indeed, 800 meters high and UIAA IV+. Ivo Ferrari told me he climbed it few days early in first solo winter ascent, and he confirmed me on the phone of the good conditions.
